description

The web part loads, but I don't get any success message. What troubleshooting can I do? Thanks for a great tool.

Can you verify:
  • the JS document library is created?
  • the jquery library and jqueryloader files are in there?
  • in the HTML there are script tags referring to those files?

I also had a problem trying to get it to work.
The script tags don't have the correct path '/js/smarttool...' should be '/sites/sitecol1/js/....'

I also have a problem trying to get the ajaxenabled menu's to work.
If I add a contenteditor webpart to the page and paste the edited AjaxEnabledSharePoint2007_v2_1.js content in it, it works.
However the autoload doesn't work. I see the script being added in logmode, but no altered menu.

Btw it could all be down to the different language (dutch) of my testing environtment.

Nice work btw!

The answers to the first two questions are yes, but the third one is no. I put in the name of master page in update the default.master and I got a success message, but there's no jquery reference.

@brcoll: can you post the contents of your master page? is it an oob master page?
@denloof: can you continue the discussion related to the web part in the discussion forum?

I'm having the same issue. I've run this on the main page of my MOSS 2007 site and I don't see the demo webpart or anything else installed. See the attached screenshot:.

Please advise.

Question: Are there any Troubleshooting tips

denloof is right.

When the sitecollection is not at the root url of the web app (e.g. /sites/sitecol1) then the jquery lib will be uploaded correctly into the right site, but the script references in the master page point to '/js/jquery.js' and '/js/smarttools.jqueryloader.js', which is relative to the root of the web app, so it can't find the js files as they don't live there. I just updated the references in the masterpage manually, and it started working.

I get the same problem as denloof. Was this ever resolved? I don't see script tags in the HTML even though the log says everything is good.
